Papua Holds Sustainable Development Action Plan

The Provincial Government of Papua, through the Papua Regional Development Planning Agency (Bapedda), has issued Regional Action Plans for Sustainable Development Goals (RADTPB) or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
.
The activity was attended by the Indonesian SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Ambassador, Billy Mambrasar who was also a special staff member of President Joko Widodo and also representatives of other relevant OPDs.
.
An expert staff of the Governor of Papua, Economic Development and People's Welfare, Ani Rumbiak said, the achievement of the implementation of TPB / SDGs could not be separated from the role of various stakeholders.
.
Indonesia, especially Papua, has been preparing to implement TPB. "Papua Province is one of the provinces that has a commitment to implement TPB, which to date several preparations have been carried out, ranging from socialization to stages, formulating RAD in an effort to support the achievement of targets, with the aim of sustainable development in Papua," he said.
.
For this reason, added Governor Enembe, in order to encourage the achievement of sustainable development goals in Papua, the Papua Provincial Government, supported by development partners, will carry out the preparation of the 2019-2023 TPB RAD, which in turn is expected to accommodate the Governor's vision and mission.
.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo's Millennial Special Staff, Billy Gracia Mambrasar, expressed his appreciation for the Public Consultation Action Plan for the Papua Province's Government of Papua Province 2019-2023.
.
"This is a very important activity, which collects ideas from the lowest level that is the goal and there must be progress, and follow up," said Billy Mambrasar.
.
According to him, this activity must be carried out sustainably. Where public consultations like this, hear updates (latest developments) accordingly.
.
"So, in my opinion it is very important how the central government encourages development from the grassroots or other development partners through public discussion," he added.
