Mappi Resort Nambay Polsek planted trees along the Trans Mur Kepi Road and Jalan Mud Mur Village with a length of more than 1 kilometer.

Tree planting was led by Nambay Iptu Djauhari Hakim Police Chief along with 5 members of the Sector Police and the local community.

Nambay police chief, Iptu Djauhari Hakim said planting trees was a National Police program, to support greening.

"With greening, the air becomes clean, because trees are producing oxygen needed for breathing. Planting trees is done as an effort to prevent various natural disasters, one of which is to prevent floods, landslides, and reduce pollution," he said, Tuesday (7/1) .

The total planted was approximately 600 trees of various types. The types of trees planted are in the form of red shoots, Durian, Mango and Pinang.

"What is carried out today is expected to benefit future generations as a form of inheritance that will be useful in the future," he said.

Iptu Djauhari said, trees that have been planted will be cared for and their growth maintained. Especially along the area of ​​Jalan Trans Mur Kepi and Jalan Kampung Mud Mur will look beautiful and fresh.

"This life will be beneficial for our children and grandchildren to enjoy what can be planted today," he said.
