Papua Police Chief Ensures Personnel Preparedness Involved in Matoa Candle Operations

To ensure the preparedness of personnel involved in the 2019 Matoa Candle Operation, Papua Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Drs. Paulus Waterpauw, accompanied by the Papua Police Chief and Religious Leaders from FKUB Papua, visited the 2019 Matoa Candle Operation Security Post.

The security posts visited included the Asei Faa security post, Hawai Sentani security post, Mega Waena Front security post, Mega Abepura Front security post, Youtefa Bridge security post, Jayapura Mall front security post and the Upper V dolphins security post.

"I want to ensure the preparedness of personnel involved in the 2019 Matoa Candle Operation in providing services to the community be it traffic flow activities, worship services and community activities that are shopping at shopping centers as well as people who are carrying out holidays at tourist attractions, "said Waterpauw.

Not only that, in addition to conducting a visit the Papua Regional Police Chief also gave gifts and motivation and enthusiasm to the personnel who were carrying out security duties. Previously the Papua Regional Police carried out a visit at a security post located in the Mimika Police Precinct.

"In principle, it reminds personnel to always work well and provide good service to the community by promoting humanistic attitudes so as to create a safe and conducive Kamtibmas situation in Papua," he explained.
