Regarding priority programs in 2020, said Frans, there are 3 sectors that are still the goals for development, and will be targeted in 2020. "We still prioritize education, health and infrastructure, plus the religious sector. This is very important to strengthen the development progress in this area, "he explained.

According to Frans, currently the Yapen Ring Road is under construction and has reached 80 percent of its work. People in the western and northern regions are expected to enjoy the road this year.

"Soon we will finish. Village communities such as dinatabui, in the northern region also beg for patience, the construction of roads and bridges is already 80 percent. So that in the future it will make it easier for the community to go to the district capital, and enjoy the infrastructure of this road without any obstacles, "explained Frans.

Frans hopes that all DPOs and staff in the Yapen Islands Regency Government will further improve the quality of their performance. "I hope that the staff must be more disciplined, and more enthusiastic about working, giving the best performance so that Yapen is more advanced, comfortable, and prosperous," he said.
