Nikolaus Kondomo The First Papuan Chief of the High Prosecutor's Office

Bumi Cenderawasih gave birth to a leader, after the inauguration of Nikolaus Komondo became the Head of the Papua High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) based on the Decree of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number: Kep-334 / A / JA / 11/2019 dated November 15, 2019.
.
This position also adds a series of historical evidence of leadership in the easternmost regions of Indonesia. In addition to Kajati, the Papua Regional Police Chief and the Cenderawasih XVII Military Commander were also held by native Papuan sons at the beginning of the second period of President Joko Widodo's leadership.
.
Nikolaus Komondo, who was met by a number of media crews when he arrived in Jayapura, Wednesday, November 20, 2019, expressed his gratitude for the new position he was holding. He invited young Papuans to study and work hard, so that they would become leaders like him.
.
In fact, Nikolaus who once served as Kajari Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), hopes that the people of Papua do not feel that they are annihilated by the state. "Because anyone who works well must be given the opportunity in a strategic position by the state. That is, the state pays attention to Papuans," he said.
.
"The next 10 years will not necessarily happen like this. Therefore, we must believe in the country and work hard. Proverbially, if a child works well, his parents will certainly pay attention," continued Nikolaus.
.
Christina Lulupori Mano, one of the members of the Papua House of Representatives, felt proud of the position of Kajati held by Nikolaus, as Papua's best son. However, he asked the prosecutors to complete the handling of a number of cases of alleged corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) which had undermined the Papuan bureaucracy.
.
"I hope that all existing cases must be resolved properly so that people trust the law enforcement authorities," he pleaded.
