Biak Numfor Prioritizes Basic Infrastructure Development in 2020

The Government of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, in 2020 will continue to prioritize the development of basic infrastructure and clean water and environmental sanitation that are still the needs of communities in various villages in Eastern Indonesia.

"Through the 74th Public Works day, the other ranks of the Public Works Office in Biak are always eager to carry out infrastructure development in Biak which will eventually accelerate the progress of Biak Numfor Regency," said Assistant III Regional Secretary Andarias F.Lameky conveyed the message of the Regent Herry Ario Naap after commemoration of the day of public service devotion in Biak, Tuesday.

He said that the local government officials congratulated the 74th anniversary of PUPR with a joint event involving ASN in Biak Numfor District.

"In accordance with the theme of commemoration of the 2019 service day, that is Sigap Building a Country for Advanced Indonesia," he said
.
He requested that the ranks of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), which commemorate the 74th Day of Service on December 3, 2019, be able to emulate the enthusiasm of the heroes who died while guarding the Department of Public Works building known as the satay building in Bandung.

The seven heroes of enchantment, he continued, were Didi Hardianto Kamarga, Muchtaruddin, Soehodo, Rio Soesilo, Soebengat, Ranu, and Soerjono.

"The services and devotion of the seven heroes of Sapta Pesona should be remembered and exemplified in carrying out the duties of the nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," Andarias Lameky read the message of President Joko Widodo on Biak Public Service Day on Tuesday.

The commemoration of Public Service Day in Biak is celebrated by the ASN Biak staff, marked by cake cutting by Assistant Regional Secretary III Andarias F. Lameky distributed to the Head of ZL Mailoa Public Works.
