BKPM Wants Many Investors to Invest in Papua

The head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia brought a delegation of Papuan officials to visit a number of strategic investors in China. This effort is to increase investment in the easternmost region of Indonesia.

Bahlil said that so far investment in Papua has lagged far behind other provinces in Indonesia.

"Ore in Australia, Morowali, and the Philippines can be processed in Papua. Regarding security, Papua is very safe. Investors do not need to worry.
