Connie Rahakundini Bakrie, a defense and diplomacy expert, requested that foreign parties be involved in the Free Papua Movement (OPM) movement being prosecuted as perpetrators of human rights violations.

According to him, this human rights should not only apply to the TNI-Polri, which indeed has the duty of the state to maintain security in Indonesia, including in the conflicts in Papua and West Papua.

"I do not accept, we the people must have the courage to say that the OPM who killed the Indonesian National Police must be subject to human rights. So there is fair treatment of the police and military," he said.
