Those who claim to support the Free Papua Organization (OPM) say that Jembatan Merah, or what is now known as the Youtafe Bridge, does not bring benefits to indigenous Papuans. Of course this statement is very troubling for all of us. Let's get it straight.

The magnificent bridge of the pride of Papua is above the Youtefa Bay, in addition to its beautiful scenery, the bridge also connects one city to another. So that it can facilitate community mobility and can save travel time.

In addition to facilitating the mobility of citizens, the red bridge is believed to be a milestone in the development of Papua, and a symbol of unifying the nation and the progress of development in Papua, the Papu community is very proud of the bridge.

The construction of the bridge might not be felt now, but later if development in Papua has been completed, the bridge will become the most important part in the economic pace in Papua, our children and grandchildren will get the benefits later.

Because the Government has committed to continue to develop Papua to be equal with other regions. The land of Papua must advance, like other regions in Indonesia, because Papua is a small paradise in Indonesia.
